i feel like this shouldn't have to be a rule, but it sadly does. if you are busy irl and have things to do? take care of that. rp is not and should not be the main thing in your life.that being said, i expect the same curtesy. i sometimes don't say anything and just go afk because i have things to do. i do genuinely hope that this doesn't reflect negatively on me, but i'll understand if it does. thus why i like to be open about the fact that i sometimes just disappear. i usually come back though!

this is a big one, and very important. i have unmedicated adhd, and i will likely forget we're doing something, get distracted... the whole nine yards. this doesn't mean i have a lack of interest it's just that i literally can not focus. please, please don't get upset with me if i don't respond right away, or if i have to ask you to re-post because i missed the reply.to go along with this, i have RSD, Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria. what this means is that, despite every fucking effort i take, emotional pain just hits harder. i suggest googling it if you're really unsure what it is.

Personality

a very neurodivergent young transman who struggles with mental health. as one does in these hard times. he's certainly doing his best, but that doesn't always make it easier.generally quiet and reserved, ash tends to strike others as someone who doesn't want to interact and only observe. this isn't actually the case, he's just too shy and hesitant to approach.observation is a good skill in trying to find ways to assimilate into a group, and it lets him learn little inside jokes, or figure out what peoples interests are. if sometimes even gives him an idea of a gift! ...not that it truly helps him because he still hesitates to take the plunge and actually say something, but he's doing his best.once he's comfortable with others, he'll be more open, often showing people a side that they wouldn't really expect from him.little to no filter, a mouth that drops f-bombs like there isn't a 10 year old two-feet away, honestly it's his favorite word. he can also be on the more perverted side. while he isn't crude (usually), he does tend to say some out of pocket things that make people look at him strangely.unfortunately when it's returned, he gets all too easily embarrassed and flustered. he is notorious for 'bottom spamming' as a genuine response.and bullying him? the quickest way to not only get him flustered, but also to get him aroused. not that he'll admit it.

History

  BIOGRAPHY    Ashraf was born to wandering Veena parents, neither of which wanted children. The plan was to carry the pregnancy to fruition and then abandon their youngling in Sharlayan where he would have had the best chance at life, or so they chose to believe. With careful steps taken, they planned their last journey to Tural before the birth only for Ashraf to arrive early, welcomed into the night on the waters of the sea between Sharlayan and Tural. While this would have put a wrench in most peoples plans, his parents were unfazed. They disembarked without Ashraf, having passed him to the crew who in turn brought him to the first safe haven that they could upon landing in Tural.There were instructions for him, along with his name and important information that he may have needed in regards to his health, but there was no names and no indication that his birth parents would ever wish for him to find them. Instead he was merely to return to Sharlayan shores where his underdeveloped body would get the best care. Due to the early birth, Ashraf was never a good eater and struggled to latch to wet nurse and bottle alike making him quite the cranky young Viera. Due to this complication he spent the first five years of his life growing up in the care of those of Tuliyollal, and despite doing their best, he was still a very malnourished child who was behind in his milestones. While it was with a heavy heart, those who cared for him agreed it was time for him to be sent to Sharlayan where he was meant to be.Of course, Ashraf has no recollection of this, he was merely told by those who raised him. Growing up, he was on the sickly side, spending most of his time reading more then playing with other scholar children, doing his best to study and just stay healthy. Book smarts were never his forte though, and he the older he got, the more disinterested in them he became. Instead, he found himself smitten with the art of dancing, and despite much protest from his guardians, he took up the job, learning from the ground up how to dip and twirl. Miraculously, this helped him to improve his stamina and built up his strength, and while still being a fragile young man, he had certainly come a long way by the time he was given his job stone officially.His young adult years were spent joining hunts, earning gil and continuing to build himself up. There were many times that he pushed himself too hard and was scolded and thus forbidden to go on the next hunts, and eventually he learned his limit. During those days where he was left behind, he instead put on a show for those who would watch. It was suggested that he find his way to Thavnair where his art would be more appreciated then by a bunch of stuffy scholars and with the blessings of his guardians, he finally left Sharlayan and traveled to Thavnair where he resides to this day.Despite being a fully grown Viera adult, Ashraf only stands at a mere five-foot tall, owing to the unfortunate malnourishment he endured as a young child. He often was teased as he was growing, though some seemed to take pity on him as well. He thinks that it's funny that there are far more 'pretty girls' that are taller then him, though that mentality led them to dress him up like a doll, and thus Ashraf quickly became comfortable wearing just about any type of clothing, though he cuts himself off of anything 'too risque', even if it might be sweltering outside.
